Barney

Well it's been a while since my last post. It snowed yesterday (about 5 inches) and I decided to stay home with Sheila and Lauren (Sheila was off anyway). We didn't play in the snow until today when the sun was out. She didn't like it too much. At first she didn't want to let go (I carried her around to the back yard common area. We kinda got her to finally walk in the snow when we started singing "The Ants Go Marching One By One..." She took a few steps but she wanted me to pick her up again soon after. She still calls snow "nose".

We ate lunch a little early because we wanted to make sure Lauren got a good nap today before we head out to see Barney. She put up a little fight but was out soon after she laid down. She woke up a little cranky and we thought for sure this was going to be a bad time to see Barney but she was pretty good inside the stadium. We didn't get there too early because we knew she just couldn't sit still and wait too long for Barney to show up on stage. Well when Barney popped up on stage, she was just staring and taking it all in. All the other older kids around us were all singing along to the songs (most of the songs we heard was all new to us because we only have a handful of Barney videos). The one song she really knows and loves - I Love You, You Love Me, We're A Happy Family - she perked right up and sang along in her own way. But alas, this was the last song of the show.
